About Us
The Community Therapists Network is a national organisation providing information, training and education to a network of therapists working across community rehabilitation and intermediate care settings and employed within education, health, mental health and social care (local government). They work to support the quality of life care of people diagnosed with and living through a potentially life-limiting condition.
The Community Therapists Network believes in supporting coordinated action, as this approach can be far more effective than the sum of the action from the individual people or organisations. We actively encourage professionals working in all aspects of community therapy to collaborate and share knowledge, enthusiasm and best practice. We believe this is tan effective way to stimulate sustainable advances in the care of people with potentially life-limiting conditions and support their life in community.
The Community Therapists Network supports the work of a wide range of professionals including but not limited to:
- Dietitians and Nutritional Therapists
- Nurses (community psychiatric nurses, reablement nurses)
- Occupational Therapists
- Physiotherapists
- Podiatrists
- Psychologists
